Sun Valley Skin Center began offering Halo in October of 2021 as an alternative to the Fractional Resurfacing Treatment. While Fractional Resurfacing is still a popular treatment for improving overall skin health, many patients could not commit to the downtime and rigorous aftercare associated with the treatment. Halo treats years of skin damage and the visible signs of aging in less time with less downtime, with many patients returning to normal activities within a week of treatment!
Halo provides visible improvement in the overall appearance of your skin and targets wrinkles and fine lines, discoloration, visible signs of aging and enlarged pores. In addition to treating face, neck and chest, patients can safely treat other areas of the body including arms, legs, stomach to name a few. After the treatment, your skin will feel warm with redness lasting for about 24 hours after treatment and peeling that can last up to five days. Most patients are able to wear makeup after the first 48 hours of treatment.
